Just finished writing the lyrics and finished mixing the track.
Now I just need to practice and record.

Lyrics and vocals for the “Mountain” instrumental are coming along.
I’ve got about half of it planned out to the second, with vocal styles and lyrics written in my notebook. I’m gonna bust out the other half tomorrow.
I’ve got a sick idea for the end of the recording based on my theme and title for the song, so I hope Cam and all the judges like it. Just even a small recognition would be sweet, just for the fact that I’m doing this all on my own on a shitty laptop camera with recording software that I downloaded from my school’s website.
And for the creative aspect that I’m writing my own lyrics, doing my own vocals, and putting it all together. That’s all I really want.
But we’ll see how it goes. I’ll finish writing it tomorrow and see what becomes of it. Practice it a ton so I can get the timings down and then record it and see how it goes.
My version will be titled “Battle for the White City”, just to give a little tease anyone who cares.

FUCK ME. I need to find someone with legitimate recording equipment. And to either get my creative juices flowing for my own lyrics on an instrumental, or a creative re-imagining of one of Cam’s vocals. It’d just be so legit to be on a creative music piece even if I never get a musical break. Just to have that one time.
